Chemical Properties

Phenolic Resin 2402 is polymerization of oleoresin.Tertiary butyl phenol and methanal polycondensation under the action of alkaline medium, to get oily pure phenolic resin. Soluble in butyl,acetate, xylene, vegetable oil.

Application

Phenolic Resin 2402 and Glycerinum, especially Tung oil, the varnish after heated is with good water-resistance and weather resistance, as well as resistance to chemical corrosion and electrical insulation; It compounds with synthetic rubber to high-strength structural adhesives. It’s used in making outdoor enamels, lacquer for floor, marine coating, water paint, amphibious paint, insulation varnish, oil black, as well as antirust paint/ adhesive industry etc.
