Phenolic Resin 2402 is polymerization of oleoresin.Tertiary butyl phenol and methanal polycondensation under the action of alkaline medium, to get oily pure phenolic resin. Soluble in butyl,acetate, xylene, vegetable oil.

Phenolic Resin 2402 is a thermoplastic p-tert-butylphenol formaldehyde resin widely used in rubber, adhesives, and coatings.

Rubber Curing Agent

• Used for butyl rubber (IIR), natural rubber (NR), SBR, and silicone rubber

Chloroprene Rubber Adhesives

• Acts as a tackifier and curing agent for CR-based adhesives

• Enhances heat resistance, adhesion strength, and initial tack

• Commonly used in shoe adhesives and graft adhesives

Coatings

• Used in exterior enamels, marine coatings, anti-rust paints, and floor lacquers

• Provides good gloss, water resistance, weather resistance, and chemical resistance

Graft Adhesive Systems

• Participates in grafting reactions for bonding polyolefins (PE, PP), EVA, SBR, PU foams, rubber, wood, glass, and metals

Insulating Tape & Pipeline Coatings

• Used as curing agent and tackifier for polyester insulating tape and anti-corrosion pipe coatings
