Crosile® 5246 is a ready-to-use diamino-functional silane polymer that firmly couples amino-reactive resins to inorganic surfaces or fillers. It delivers stronger adhesion, lower VOC, better hydrophobicity and outperforms conventional monomeric aminosilanes.
Crosile® 5246 forms strong chemical bonds with inorganic substrates through diamino groups, while alkyl chains provide excellent hydrophobicity and siloxane network ensures long-term stability and durability.
Diamino groups react with resins or curing agents to form a strong network.
Alkyl chains orient outward to provide excellent water and moisture resistance.
Silane condenses with substrate hydroxyl groups to form stable Si–O–M bonds.
Siloxane network provides excellent durability, water resistance, and weatherability.
