Desscription

Crosile®-1098 is a specialty vinyl-functional silane polymer of low odor and low viscosity that couples inorganic fillers to polyolefins; its high boiling and flash points lower VOC emissions and enhance handling safety.

One-step coupling, dispersing and hydrophobation  

Hydroxyl groups anchor to mineral surfaces; vinyl groups cross-link with polyolefins in radical conditions  

Designed for highly filled ATH/MDH halogen-free flame-retardant cable compounds and for pigment/filler surface treatment

Rapid filler dispersion, low moisture uptake, balanced strength & flexibility, improved crack and abrasion resistance, low emission

Recommended Dosage

0.5–1.5 wt % on filler; add during compounding or use as a pre-treatment
