Product Description:
Crosile®-8159 is a pre-hydrolyzed, water-borne silane containing 60 % active oligomer and 40 % water. The product is supplied as a light-blue, ready-to-use liquid free of volatile organic compounds (VOC).

• Pre-hydrolyzed – no on-site alcoholysis required; dilute only with water

Recommended Applications:
• Surface treatment of glass, minerals and metals
• Sizing/reinforcement of glass & basalt fibers
• Glass & metal primers
• Surface modification of organic substrates
• Adhesion promoter in water-borne epoxy, PU, acrylic, phenolic and other latex systems
Instructions for Use:
Dosage: 0.5–5 % based on total formulation (calculated on active silane)
Application: spray, dip, roll-coat or direct addition into resin
Cure: 80–180 °C for 1–5 min, or 7 days at ambient temperature for full cross-linking
Packaging & Storage:
- Packaging: 25 kg PE drum (IBC available on request)
- Storage: 15–30 °C, cool & dry, keep sealed; avoid direct sunlight.
- Shelf life: 12 months in original, unopened container.
