Rubber Grade Precipitated Silica

Chemical Properties
Precipitated silica, a form of synthetic amorphous silicon dioxide, is derived from quartz sand, a crystalline form of silicon dioxide. The physical properties of precipitated silica can be manipulated during the manufacturing process to deliver products with a wide range of performance-enhancing features engineered for many different end-use applications.

Application
Silica Precipitated Silica
- Precipitated Silica are mainly used in Shoe making, Rubber Roller and Tyre industries.
- Precipitated Silica possesses a high reinforcing potential and imparts to rubber compounds particularly high Shore hardness, tensile strength, tear resistance and abrasion resistance. In order to achieve optimum rubber-technical data the addition of activators like glycols, amines or other alkaline accelerators is necessary
