Felcosil-165 Amorphous Precipitated Silica for Rubber
Product Name
SiO2, Precipitated Silica, White Carbon, Silicon Dioxide, Silica Powder, Amorphous Precipitated Silica
Chemical Properties
Precipitated silica, a form of synthetic amorphous silicon dioxide, is derived from quartz sand, a crystalline form of silicon dioxide. The physical properties of precipitated silica can be manipulated during the manufacturing process to deliver products with a wide range of performance-enhancing features engineered for many different end-use applications.

Application
1. Felcosil-165P are a versatile inorganic chemical which are used for reinforcement of rubbers and plastics, coating and paints, printing inks and cosmetics, anti-blocking of plastic foils, free running and free flow of sticky solid and liquid substances, carrier for pesticides, secticides, high temperature insulation, stabilizing of beer and silicon rubber.
2. Felcosil-165P possesses a high reinforcing potential and imparts to rubber compounds particularly high Shore hardness, tensile strength, tear resistance and abrasion resistance.
In order to achieve optimum rubber-technical data the addition of activators like glycols, amines or other alkaline accelerators is necessary.
