What Are You Looking For?
Functional sulfur-containing silanes are widely used in rubber processing, adhesives, composite materials, metal surface treatment, construction waterproofing, etc. Sulfur silanes—whose main functional group is sulfur—are the most widely used functional silanes. In the rubber industry they effectively enhance the bond between carbon black fillers and rubber molecules and promote vulcanization. They also function as coupling agents, accelerators and vulcanizing agents, and have become essential raw materials for radial tire production.
