Crosile®-6297 – Silicone Anchor/Tackifier
(Anchor promoter for silicone pressure-sensitive adhesives)
Product Description:
• Colourless, transparent liquid
• Specifically designed to enhance the adhesion of silicone PSAs to polycarbonate (PC) substrates
• High bonding strength, easy to incorporate
Typical Applications:
Silicone-PSA tapes, labels and films bonded to PC parts; e.g. die-cut gaskets, electronic-device mounting, automotive interior trims.
Instructions for Use:
- Add slowly to the silicone PSA while stirring.
- Do NOT pre-mix with platinum catalyst.
- Avoid prolonged contact with air; re-seal immediately after use.
- Recommended dosage: 0.6 –1.4 phr (parts per 100 parts adhesive base).
Compatibility & Limitation:
Validated with conventional addition-cure silicone PSAs. Verify curing profile and adhesion on your specific formulation and PC grade before production.
Storage & Shelf Life
Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place at ≤ 25 °C, away from ignition sources and direct sunlight.
Shelf life: 6 months from date of manufacture.
