Light Color Petroleum C9 Product Description

Cold polymerized petroleum resin HC 9140 is prepared by low temperature catalytic polymerization of C9 fraction, which is a byproduct of ethylene plant.

HC 9140 is yellow granular solid, transparent and glossy, with good solubility, mutual solubility, water resistance, insulation, excellent chemical stability to acid and alkali, good adhesion and low thermal conductivity.

Light Color Petroleum C9 Applications

Paints: The mixture of petroleum resin HC 9140 and dry oil can be used for varnish making, increase the alkali resistance and the shock resistance of the varnish. Improve the temperature resistance and waterproof in primer.
Printing inks: Petroleum resins HC 9140 used for printing inks will increase the drying speed, the radiance and the printing quality, it also reduces the product cost.
