ECOPOWER C9 HC 9150 is a low-molecular-weight, thermoplastic aromatic hydrocarbon resin produced by catalytic polymerization of petroleum-based C9 feedstock. Supplied as light-yellow, transparent granules, it delivers high solubility and broad compatibility, coupled with low thermal conductivity. The resin offers outstanding water, acid and alkali resistance, excellent electrical insulation, and long-term chemical stability, imparting balanced and durable adhesion to adhesives, hot-melts and modified asphalt systems.

1. Printing Inks

Fast-drying, high-gloss, cost-effective; compatible with alcohol- and ester-based systems, typical loading 8–15 %.

2. Adhesives & Pressure-Sensitive Adhesives

Boosts tack and heat resistance; first-choice resin for solvent-borne SBS/CR labels and tapes, recommended dosage 15–25 %.

3. Asphalt Modification

High softening point 140–150 °C, improves rutting resistance and high-temperature storage stability; usual addition 2–5 % in SBS/EVA modified asphalt.
