HT9140 C9 hydrocarbon resin is produced by pretreatment, polymerization and distillation of C9 fraction, which is a by-product of petroleum cracking. It is an oligomer with a molecular weight between 300-3000.

Application

The paint mainly uses high softening point C9 hydrocarbon resin.

Adding C9 hydrocarbon resin to paint can increase:

Final finish of the paint
Adhesion and hardness of paint film
Acid and alkali resistant elements

Rubber Low softening point C9 hydrocarbon resins are primarily used. The resin has good mutual solubility with natural rubber particles. It has no vulcanization effect on rubber.

The C9 resin has good adhesion and increases the adhesive's adhesion to acids, bases and water. Then they will reduce the cost of production.
