Chemical Properties
Ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) is a versatile synthetic rubber, especially in the automotive and construction industries. It's extremely durable and flexible. It has a single bond molecular structure, chemically saturated main chain, which makes it extremely resistant to outdoor conditions, which is due to the fact that UV and O₃ cannot split its single bond molecular structure like double bond rubber.
