When configuring hot-melt adhesives and pressure-sensitive adhesives, only the matrix resin has adhesive force only when it melts at a certain temperature. Once the temperature drops, the bonding will decline or even lose its bonding ability.
Adding petroleum resin to the elastomer can not only improve the viscosity and wettability of the hot melt adhesive, but also improve the surface contact effect and characteristic adhesion performance, and obtain an ideal balance between viscosity, cohesive strength and interface strength.
It is also possible to adjust the rheology of the adhesive, increase the glass transition temperature of the mixture, and adjust the heat-resistant temperature of the hot-melt adhesive, thereby expanding the use environment of the hot-melt adhesive.
