Application

C5 Petroleum Resin HC5090 is an important ingredient in the formulation of many rubber adhesives, especially synthetic rubber, which has a lower viscosity than natural rubber.

C5 aliphatic resin HC5090 increases track, peel strength and increases glass transition temperature, which in turn increases shear strength.

In paints, hydrocarbon resin C5 HC5090 provides excellent pigment wetting, enhanced adhesion, gloss and film hardness. They can also improve flow and leveling, reduce VOCs and provide better mold and water resistance.
